Description
- Scotland, Kyle of Lochalsh -
I really stopped often in this area to catch the beautiful play of sun and shadow.
That was Scotland as I had expected it. On this day all old ghosts were alive!
Thanks for all interest and welcome comments.
Have a nice day! ;o)
About the suggestions for contrast: At first here the intensity of the shadows is truely higher. And second I tried to get it with less contrast but it looked like a washed out grey. I like it like it is because of the true mood there, the intense of shadows and the b/w and not grey!
But thanks a lot for the critics I appreciate, to learn and listen to your true opinions! ;o)

Brilliant shot!
Excellent and powerful landscape!!!!
Top le B&W, and excellent scene....;;;;;
The low clouds set a beautiful contrast for the landscape. Excellent picture.
Rita, this looks so steep... I'm amazed the trees have managed to cling onto the hillside for so long. Great use of B&W & good work to expose both the detail & sky so well. Congrats! Steve.
Excellent contrasts.
amazing! simply outstanding, rita..uve done it again!
I can almost see the clouds moving in this one Rita...luv it in b/w...
I really like it... the rich contrast gives it a great intense feel. Besides, if you like it that's all that counts.
Wonderful POV makes the mountain look even more impressive !!

It is absolutely wonderful just the way it is. Very moody, stark, and bright. Well done.
Beautiful scene.
you know what i love about this one the most Rita? i love the little fence that starts on the lower right and moves across the foreground of your image. i find this a very electric image and the high contrast adds to the excitment. I agree with Raz...i can almost see the clouds moving in this one! and the ghosts....oooooh we better be careful here! :)
Beautiful monochrome !!!
Suddenly the overall grey becomes black and white.... What a joy! Excellent work in b&w! Love the play of shadows!
