Description
- Scotland, Kyle of Lochalsh -
It was a day with typical scottish weather conditions. Some minutes wonderful warm sunlight and some minutes heavy rain and icy wind.
Here it was a must to stop and catch the sunrays after a long rain time.
Thanks for all welcome comments and I wish you a wonderful start into the new week! ;o)

Hello Rita! Stirrings in the camp again :) Very difficult shot this, against the light with very little falling on the subject. Minutes later and this would have been a silhouette. As Andreas says, "Well done".

Amazing catch of sunlight !Excellent shot !
Even though it is very peaceful, as most of your images reveal, there appears also sadness, desolation and isolation in your photographs of Scotland. Yet, it is this very emotion of loneliness that offers comfort and solace for self-contemplation. I can feel the coldness in this photograph, but I also sense the warmth of the light breaking across the ridge. Another magnificent and thought provoking photograph.
You have captured this beautiful scene at the right moment ...excellent picture!
... for me it is not possible to look at this capture and not say: SUPERB (as usual).
