Description
- When I look at a photograph - For me - One of two things happen - I see a pure image that becons to stand on it own or I see and feel a image waiting to be born - Most of you expect to see heavey postwork when you view my photographs - which does not surprise me - for that is mostly what I have given you - only because I have not had an oppertunity to work a scene - All of my shots have been point and shoot for the most part - no tripod and very few preset settings other than auto with a tweak on exposure and ISO - I long for time to persue a shot - to make it happen rather than hope it happened in other words - get lucky - Some of you still may feel shots like this would be better as is - I can not do that - because I would be cheating you and myself - because - for me expression is what the visual medium is all about - if I take a point and shot photo the result 99% of the time is not what I concived - and required nothing more than pushing a button - I could train a monkey to do that ! - I will say that most often a good shot like this only asks to be freed - I just let the natural flow of the image guide me - I try not to force it to be something it is not -
I felt this was important to share - I am very serious about what I do here - to post a image without feeling would be meaningless for me and a insult to you and the integrity of Renderosity -
- I hope you understand and I thank you for indulgeing me and viewing my work - please take care -

- I have inserted the original shot on the bottom -

Part of this is how the glory of the flare accentuates the bent beaks of the ibis(?). Many a goose has flown.
superbe creation
Thanks for describing your process a bit..it leads to us understanding your shots a bit better. I like both images here, the postwork on the top is quite nice. I would have limited the width of the gray border a bit though. :)

Both images are quite wonderful. I pre-visulize my images as well and try to achieve the visualization. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but I suspect that no two us will ever have the same visualization. Well done!
Both the photo and what you did with it are great!
"to post a image without feeling would be meaningless" that is what counts! you know how I admire your work but here you did to much of the good, it looks for me to religious! it's only my taste and I prefer the fantastic original capture and i would like to view it in large size! ;o))))
