Reminds me very much of the French photographer Eugene Atget. I like moer the left half of the image. The tones and hues are more pronounced. In general I would not go lighter, if anything a it more darker and with a little dash of contrast to bring out the highlights more. All subjective of course. each with our own interpreation of things. Art critiques, who needs them . . . . just keep creating your art to your vision and passion.
