it's the great tree of matttidom!! i remember it well... it looks upon the sunset if startled, pleading with it not to go... the compo is right on in the long crop as you know ;]

....fascinating photo -- I like the figurative element to the tree -- and the dark ridge of the treeline in complete silhouette -while the tree & foreground yield some detail - then there's that gorgeous lit up cloud almost pushing the tree back on it's heels. ---- great work!
