Description
5 of 7 (Part 2)
This is a remake of the 5th in my 7 part series of the USS Shenandoah journey to Mars. I have decided to give Mars a somewhat violent atmosphere. The Shenandoah has just arrived and enter orbit around Mars only to find the planet at the end of a quite active weather system. Thanks again for taking the time to view and comment on my work.
Cheers,
David

This is an awesome image.... the surface storms you added are great. Excellent work!
Excellent as always. I'm impressed by the cloud effect and how it remains below the peaks of the highest volcanic mountains. It also has the appearance of being violently blown by the wind. You've really achieved the effect that you're after David. Is this postwork or a volumetric effect? Either way it's excellently done.
Great dust storm
Holy, u know what, that mars looks so real, wow, hmmm that gives me an idea, awesome shot there. really great.so how long these take to render ???
Outstanding as always!
Surface storms are excellent and I like how you wrapped the clouds around the craters--super work!
Superb!!!! Almost like looking through a helmet visor...infact it gives me a very uneasy feeling of vertigo!!! Cheers! Alan.
OK Master - how can you possibly add to this theme? Thanks for sharing...
this image definitely gives you the sense of actually being there
Great sense of expanse. Nice work!!
