~*~She Walks in Beauty~*~ She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes: Thus mellow'd to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies. ~Lord Byron~ This was perhaps one of the first elven images I did using a real person rather than from my mind. The lady was from a 'Dooney and Burke' catalogue my daughter had received and the setting/image just cried FAE to me. Sometimes images do that. Some of the merfolk have been models from magazine ads which scream 'MER'. It's how I draw on occasion. Usually they wind up not looking at all like the original model, but the features/pose are what I'm seeing. This was a simple sketch on bristol. Color enhanced in PSP, filter added Oil Paint by Virtual Painter. Frame done in Sinedots and PSP 9. Some touch ups on the eyes, in PSP using the chalk paintbrush and here she is... One of my all time favorites. Please enjoy and many thanks to those who viewed yesterdays Drow, may a bit of the magic rub off on ya an a rainbow shine upon you each day. As always Pat
