Hey!...Glad everyone liked my little duck family. I had fun with that one.
On this image, I have played with some different lighting and texturing techniques in post work. I think it really helped the brownish part of the flame separate and stand out.
As always, comments...for and against...are welcome and appreciated.

I like the texture work Gary, very nice light in this one too!
I just love those colours, as well as the formation! Beautiful!
Very beautiful! Great job!
Very graceful design and a subtle colouring that makes this image a pleasure to view. Love the soft and gradual way in which it blends with the background, enhancing its depth!
Nice combination of colors Gary...the top one resembles an Armadillo or a Lobster.....dare I say maybe mating season :-)
very fine spirals with a big touch of class!!(**)
Great spirals... and great gradient. I like the neat blending of the brown and green. Work a bit on the border. But anyway: excellent flame! I agree with MagicHawk too, like mating shrimps.
A vibrantly soft and very beautiful spiral mating dance, Gary. This has great elegance with that gently folding depth and lovely light from within. Very creative, visually appealing and outstanding art! V
Gary this is a beautiful flame! A very graceful and soothing design! I really love the transition of color from the brown to the greenish-blue! I also love the transparency in it as well! A most excellent image! Leanndra
