Description
The "Path of ochres" in Roussillon, in Vaucluse (Provence - France).
It's an incredible place where contrasts of colors are liked !
They are old yellow-earth quarries, which one amongst other things uses for the construction of the houses in this region. One calls this place "Provencal Colorado", and for those which know the Colorado they had no doubt... the lifelike of the forms and colors is striking.
Well on dimensions are very different, in France it is not also large, but quite as pretty.
Have a nice Sunday, and thanks for your comments and friendship.

Incredible photos. Beautiful. Thanks.
As a Coloradan, I can confirm that they do look a lot like parts of Colorado, or possibly Utah. I don't usually think of scenes like this in Provence! A beautiful capture!
Gorgeous sandy rocks with beautiful shapes, wonderful to see them with these contrasting colors! Excellent work!
