I suppose what intrigued me most about this image was not the juxtapositioning of man's power versus nature's power; but the advancing threat on the horizon.

A great capture, one has to be awed by those clouds and, of course, the contrast of man vs nature.
I see what you mean about the horizon and it's impact...creates a sense of urgency.... A need to spring into action to stop the wave of encroachment. Stirring image!
Wonderful photo. The only thing slightly disturbing is the slanted horizon.
I love this shot : a very huge dimensio is given by this stormy sky and the minimized land at the bottom :) The B&W choice is a good one, but I would be curious to see the coloured version :)) Superb!!
