Description
I dedicate this tribute image to an artist I admire very much, Gerhard. You are an inspiration and your images always leave me wanting more.
( Since he's not letting us leave comments on his Powerlines series of images, feel free to leave any comments for them here! And heck, maybe I can finally break into the Hot20 if I emulate his style, heheh. ;^P )

(( BTW, he deleted his Powerline series to make room in the Hot20, but promised us a collage. :] ))

Another wonderful powerline capture!!! I like the geometry and the clouds perfecty in the background od the industrial structure!!! Excellent shot!!! :)
Actually a rather fine composition in the same spirit as Gerhard's - Brvao, quite well done!
Beatiful shot. Very sharp, works perfect in B/W.
i was just saying: SHIT!!! I am just beside LOGI. on the general gallery, my viewings are finished!!! when i saw your name; Hope!! goodmorning, your photo looks like...BUT YOU ARE NOT LOGI.!!!!I KNOW THAT , I AM SICK!!!!
very powerful image no pun intended....possible link to logiloglu's gallery here would be nice
Careful- the multioplication of power-lines is having an affect on DELMUR!
Heheh, you noticed that too?
Fantastic shot here ! Outstanding concept and atmosphere ! Excellent work !!! V
*** I can't take credit for the concept, but thanks for the rest. ;) ***
excellent pov and comp! outstanding in b/w! fantastic capture!!!! V!!!!
The clouds 'welling up' behind the poles is very effective. It's interesting to see how power lines vary so much from one part of the world to another. Logiloglu's powerline series were there a couple of hours ago, but as you say they have almost all disappeared! which is a shame.
cool shot!!
This are some interesting power polls with the bow type arch structure. I also like the clouds in the background not overpowering the polls themselves. V
Wondeful work, love all those lines... gorgeous !! :o) What i like most about this images is that behind all those lines the clouds are visible !!! One more for the Hot20 ;o)
*** Thanks. Every since the 3 hurricanes hit our area last year, our power company has being adding all sorts of back-ups, enhancers, and extra new technology to our power line poles. :) ***
beautiful .. composition for a fantastic photographer/ artist.. hugs ..:) excellent work
I'm really REALLY sorry that I'm most probably responsible for what Gerhard (logiloglu) did (removing his wonderful power lines from his gallery...) see the discussion in the Forum : http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2131570 I just wanted to express an opinion... Further, your picture is good, Kort, but honestly, not as good as those from Gerhard... :~)
...great!!!! shot and tribute!....this shot stands on it's own.
