Description
After the Sand Storm
The crew of the Mars Lander USS Chesapeake surveying the surrounding terrain after a sand storm blows through. This would be one of the many hazards that a manned expedition would face on a 6 months stay on the surface of Mars. This is another from my continuing series of the USS Chesapeake. The Lander and crew were created in Bryce5 from scratch. Thanks again for taking the time to view and comment on my work.
Cheers,
David

Sweet! Excellent scene.
Excellent after the storm effect.
Amazing....!
I love the sense of depth in this and the detailed landscape too. Excellent sci-fi render !!
Brilliant as always! Could we get a closer view of the lander and crew at this angle, please? Perhaps a couple of Martians too;-)
wow awesome, love the view, wow, really great
Very good! The terrain and the volumetric atmosphere are looking almost real. The lander and crewmembers are well done, too.

I don't know. They go all this way and forget to take a rover? :-) Wonderful technical work. Top marks again.
Love the POV and hazy effect. The terrain is very Mars-like. The lander is excellent. Incredible work in Bryce. It shows there are few limitations in this program that can't be overcome. Vote.
thou are Booleanus Rex..;) keep 'em coming.
Well done !
David, thank you for taking us on this wonderful trip to Mars.
An excellent rendering of valiant spacefarers amidst challenging conditions.
Excellent. Looks like a picture scene.
I love the mood and style of this image. It reminds me of the classic sci-fi comic books from back in the day, but with a very "real" edge to it.
Excellent scene, perfect mars atmosphere! V
Simply impressed Dave!
Wow, I feel like I'm there.
