Description
Was looking at my son's Valentines candy when it hit me. SweetHeart's bikini was the perfect shape to be remade into Sweetheart Candies by Necco. Haven't done the bottom yet...feel free to offer suggestions. :)
Found pictures of the candy to sample the colors from. Painted solid one color, then a secondary one airbrushed over it. Text color sampled from the candies as well, though I couldn't figure out what the font was or how to make the lettering appear somewhat sunken as it is on the candies.
Thanks for looking.
John

Very gorgeous imagery and concept!! :)
Dear John, Hmmm - the question of course on everyone's mind is - do they just look like Sweethear candies or are they REALLY candy - and if so, then - Better leave it to everyone's imagination as to how they are removed. ;-) Cute idea and excellent work. To get the lettering to "sink in" make a duplicate of the letters, darken it a little, place it behind the first, and offset it a little. It'll provide the shadow to create depth. Love, Meredith
