Thank you the feedback on Tieing the knot.
This is a sheep I've posted, and if you can imagine the yellow lines move in a circle and the pink lines echo the movement in the background. This one did not live very long in the flock but a sister variation has been alive for 5 days now. I have a dozen animations ready to be uploaded to my website but my site administrator has been sick so perhaps in a week they will be ready for viewing.

Two words ... simply beautiful!
For some reason this reminds me of the beat phenomenon where new pitches are created by the interaction of other sounds, i.e., "beats." I see where the tangents cause two curves and where the different tangents intersect to create new figures unrelated to the curves. Awesome.
