Description
To late to get to Mallaig. Driving back along the coast and an almost lonesome area. All along the road there was an atmosphere of rough isolation. One could get lost in all the twilight of wind and rainy darkness!
Here a view across Loch Ailort (leading into the open sea) to Laggan and Ardnish.
Thanks a lot for all your support and wishing you a restful weekend! ;o)))

fantastic b/w work, super!!
Awesome mood you have created with this photo Rita. Beautiful work and frame. Is there a monster in that Loch? Well done :)
The photograph is wonderful!
excellent ! A beautiful place and a beautiful shot !
Beautiful !!!
Beautiful B&W photo!!!Beautiful frame!!!Excellent!!!
Actually the B&W feature is the best way we have to save shots that wouldn't have any interest (because of the bad weather and the lack of light) and to turn them into beautiful pictures. I came to this conclusion with my "binary" shot and every time I see this kind of things, it reminds me that I should use it more frequently. Great work, dear!
Very nice photo and presentation! Very well done!!
This picture oozes atmosphere. Well done.
WOnderful capture and fantastic picture ... I love this and V (you did here an excellent image!!!)

aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh so much darkness from such a colorful person. it sure is diffrent.;)
Beautifully captured! The lighting and contrast really set this imgage off...in B&w it's superb~ V
verry nice picture :) looks a bit bad weather on the pic :)
Stunning. Excellent captured mood. I love wind (for windsurfing :-) Thx for sharing !
Very dark and moody. I love the ripples in the water. What a wonderful view!
I like the mood the B&W gives to this. but as for the weather..Sigh Looks too much like here. I like unny sunny daze lalalala. Keep these coming!
very good at shoting the mood and all here
Ohhhh I like this, a lot. PERFECT in B&W. Love the gorgeous view and feel of cold and dark and windy. I want to be in a stone manor on a bluff, with a huge window overlooking this view, roaring fire in the fireplace, listening to the wind, sipping brandy and pondering life. Sigh.
Cracking shot in Black and White, Rita, with the wind beating down the waves, almost flattening them. Besest viewed in black and white, through two glass ( one, a window pane, and the other a glass of Black and White whisky ).Less whimsically, I think that sometimes, with the failing light ( even in the middle of the day ) the view in some parts of Scotland, seems to only be in black and white! Moody, but we would not change it. Regards, John.
beautiful view. Your choice to go for B&W just emphasizes the "oppressive" mood. good one!
Dark, moody, a bit ominous, but an eccellent image, it has great impact in black and white. Eccellent *V Lina
Great mood with this BW. Looks to be chilly and stormy. Excellent as always Rita :^)
Perfect the B&W for this capture... superb !
b/w really does this justice because color would not show well with all the haze and fog. excellent capture
