About:
------
Salvaged from total obscurity here's a rejected image entry that was offered to another site.
The image was created/rendered in a beta of DAZ Studio as an introduction to the (clunky beta! ;-) program using the DAZ Millennium Gorilla.
It was rendered in the 'quick render' quality mode NOT a proper high quality mode because the lighting and feel of the figure seemed to be just right for the tone of the image.
The addition of the Morphing Glasses (by DAZ) to the figure gave him more character.
Postwork in Photoshop consisted of now forgotten steps being performed that gave the strange but quite interesting look of the gorilla behind the glasses. A very plain background was faked-in to fill the frame and to compliment the figure and tones.
It looks like his inner mouth is lit from the inside but that's irrelevant because it helps to add to the image and show off his mouth and teeth.
Designed to be more illustrative-like than a plain render, the area to the right lends itself for text to be added in. - In fact there was going to be another version with text that said, "The agent for the infinite group of monkeys who have written the script for Hamlet is here to see you Mr Adams."
(Apologies of course to Douglas Addams!) :-)
