I wanted to go up there myself when I was out there recently but the lack of four wheel drive prevented that. Only got as high as the Visitor Center. Must have been a great view. Do you have a panoramic shot?
Super photo ops, eh? More yummy sci-fi goodness. Hah! This is the angle I've seen other photos taken of this on the NASA site. Your blows them away, so very sharp and detailed and the colors are great!

Nice shot sharky. That Canada-France-Hawaii dome is the one I worked in for a bit. How did you do with the lack of oxygen up there? Some guys handle it pretty well and others just get sicker'n a dog. I was OK but just barely.
KapohoGuy, I did get a little light headed at first. One must acclimate themselves to the altitude. After a few cups of hot chocolate, I was walking the trails with no problems. Aloha and thank you for asking.
Superb shot... the pov is excellent, Errol! v
what a fantstic catch! looks like a fiction scene! a perfect composed shot with a wonderful sky! ;o)
