Description
Not exactly sure what the name of this structure is, but I do know that it houses the funeral cart of the last king of Laos. This building is in the temple complex of Wat Xieng Thong in Luang Phrabang, Laos PDR.
I spent a few days there on vacation, coming back to the sites of some urban conservation work I had done a decade ago before Luang Prabang was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It was very fulfilling to see how the city has been both conserved and improved, by intelligent and responsible development.
