I think I've fallen into a philosophical mood. Here is a poem by Theodore Sturgeon that I read many years ago and never forgot:
There is in certain living souls
A quality of loneliness unspeakable,
So great that it must be shared
As company is shared by lesser beings.
Such a loneliness is mine; so know by this
That in immensity
There is one lonelier than you.

i luv rocks, and this one is just incredible!!! What gorgeous colors and rich tones, and the lighting and shadows are very appealing!! i'm gonna start climbing!!! i gotta check out the view below!!! the poem you chose....sigh...it's perfect for this piece. it's a very isolated, lonely spot, and the rocks do speak if you listen. i see someone up there is listening now. loneliness unspeakable...well i can relate to that. the words of the poem...until i met my husband, well they were words i couldn't spoken my whole life. I'm so lucky and grateful to have met him and that that loneliness unspeakable...well...it was heard. Excellent expressive artwork!!!!!! keep up the great work!!!!!!!
