APO2.02>PSP7 layering, text and opt.
Thank you very much for the feedback on the MLK Jr. tribute. I have been working on a gallery of knots for my site and enjoying taking them further through transformations and functions...endless fascination!
This piece reminded me of a woodcut print. I rendered 3 versions in different colors and layered them.
Have a terrific Tuesday!

You can still see the wooddust in the background. And to me it looks like all those wooden sticks are in motion. Nice work.

very terrific! :))
Wow! This is excellent! Absolutely stunning!
Perhaps it's the layering, but this piece shows an incredible amount of movement! The subdued colors help also.
Very interesting flame work Chris! Great looking spiral design and blending! I like the colors too! Excellent! :) V
Somebody did some very fine carving. Terrific work, great details and colors, really nice!
Great spiral and shapes. If the density were higher, would it remove some of the speckles? Love the tight spiral in the center. :)
I am going to call you "vitamin" cause you are so one-a-day! :) This is nice and aged looking with the narrow color range. I like the composition, too.
OMGOSH...more like a maple tree shedding its wonderous seeds....MAGICAL and the coloring so very close to nature.....(=
A most beautiful spiral set and masterfully colored!
A lovely spiral.
Perfect title for this dynamic offering of spiral sawing and strips of animated wood- love the movement. :~) I personally think the "speckles" add realism to my interpretation. Lively and lovely with the earthy colors.
awesome fantasy KITCHAOS
Awesome, Chris! The power of layering; it's addictive isn't it?

One of the most delicate and beautiful spirals I have seen for sometime ............ Michael
