It's probably an illusion, but part of this looks like it would be 2d if it weren't for that shadow! Beautiful colors, and very interesting study, that's for sure! Love it! V (:

I agree with CarolSassy. I like the way this plays with perception of perspective: is it 2d, is it 3d, is it both, what am I looking at?

X-ellent work, Dirk! The geometric perspective quandry lends great interest; simple on one hand, yet very complex intellectually on the other. Very creative and absorbing abstraction.
