About:
------
This image started out in 2003 as a playaround in BRYCE primarily because I mocked up a scene to create some random-based skies to add to my own BRYCE sky library for future use.
At one point I finally stumbled on that "big moon' effect that I've seen in other peoples work, and the scene then evolved on from there. Later on though I removed the big moon and used a more standard looking moon in the scene to get the starkness I wanted rather than some romantic looking feel. ;-)
In January 2005 I loaded up the 2003 final TIFF version into Photoshop and played around with it to make it mellow for my desktop, especially for tired eyes / late night use.

splendid looks, and brilliant compo!bravo!vote!:DDD
Great work!! I like the mood. It would be nice to spend some time there relaxing and looking at the skies.
A fun image, wouldn't like to be there when it's stormy, but very tranquil in this portrayal
Great concept. Excellent composition.
Wow that is beautiful! I just love it. The sepia color is a nice addition it changes the whole feel of the composition. I love the observatory as well. Excellent just excellent!
Well done.
I love your scene. I want an observatory like that.
Nice work, the colour scheme sets it off nicely!
