About:
------
At the time I created this simple image I'd seen some documentaries etc. on TV about 'September 11' and the plans to rebuild on the site.
Coincidentally I just happened to see another one today about a nice design that was envisioned and liked by all the public but was dismissed by the other architect(s) involved to the point where just a poor vestigal 'spike' on the top now takes the place what was originally supposed to be a feature in harmony with the upraised arm of the Statue of Liberty.
This image is my somewhat abstract statement to the concept where other inflated egos, far too elevated self-reputations, and bare faced dollar values usurp without respect the original vision of beauty and remembrance that should have been carried out as was expected.
Of course all this is In My Humble Opinion.
Z.
