Description
This is my dream home. I want it on stilts so that it disturbs the wildlife or natural surroundings as little as possible. I want trees to be able to grow under it. A little inspired by a hotel I saw on TV in Costa Rica and the Ewok villages from Return of the Jedi. I have a few more ideas for it and I'll post them as I change the design and do the interior layout. I'm thinking about getting rid of the rope ladder and placing the individual gazebos closer together. The idea is that each gazebo holds a different room of the traditional home, i.e. One gazebo is a living room, one the master bedroom and one has two guest or second and third bedrooms. I'm thinking about setting up a comune or hotel style as well. Let me know what you think.

Well, I can't do stairs well, thanks to my hip, but I love the concept! I had an idea for doing something like this on a forest floor, where the stilts/rock foundation would be close to ground and each room/area would wrap around and between ancient trees. Lots of skylights and atriums...covered pathways to reach each unit. Use composting toilets and well water (hand dug as my ex and I did in NH)...lots of thought went into it and probably influenced greatly by a combination of Japanese architecture and Frank Lloyd Wright. I'm anxious to see more of this!
looks similar to a ww2 prisonar of war camp watch tower in the scence if the style (sry but its what came to mind) but i can see why you like it well done man = D
