Description
This is my new character "Gwen". She is rendered in P5 with Face Off's new skin shader.
Any helpful comments to improve my render would be appreciated.
Your comments mean a lot to me.

I think you did a great test and Gwen turned out wonderfully!! The lighting is great and her skin looks so realistic!! Beautiful work!!
The realism of this portrait is superb. Beautifully done LLL!
Excellent Portrait,Lights and her Skin are very realistic!!!
Excellent portrait Cynthia, very expressive face!!! Happy New Year to you!!!
I don't have P5, but this skin shader looks like an amazing tool!!!! I love the character, too!! Excellent work!
Parts of this render look very realistic (lips, hair, skin) - which makes some other things stick out...It's a V3 thing, rather than Gwen, but she has very round shoulders. The displacement on her skin is very noticeable - might be a tough too much (or might be just right - depending on what look you want). There is some yellowing on her chin and cheek - a sign that the main light is 10-20% too bright - over-exposing those areas. Love the warm (red) transition you've got from the light part of her face to the dark areas - perfect main light positioning. Her eyes look different (from each other?) - maybe too much reflection?
Wonderful portrait...!!!!!
Wow, I wish you would have seen the one I did, sorry, it is in the trash, lol I don't have any tips but looks like you are getting a handle on it with that beautiful face!
Hi Gwen!!...the eyes are a little odd, but this is a "skin tone test"...no?
the image looks wonderful,i do see a little red in her nose..that could be from the shader, maybe a little softer lighting, but it depends what you want personaly..that is strange how the eyes look different..i do really like how her freckles show and the gloss on her cheeks and lips.these shaders sound interesting..all in all i still say excellent..
stunning artwork
I will offer this advice from a 2nd grade teacher. You should not roll your shoulders "like oranges." After Madonna's "Vamp" and bodybuilding this advice still seeks a listener.
Try experimenting with the slider bars in the interface to achieve the exact texture you want. The default is OK for far away objects, but I find it's a little too noticable for closeups. Also, experiment with various lighting setups. These have a big impact on both the way the script renders textures and the final result. Finally, make sure the bump map you use is plugged into the bump in the material room. Most textures load the BM into the gradient bump. Also a setting of .05 seems about right. Hope this helps. One more thing. If realism is what your striving for, try redoing the eyes. They appear a little too cartoonish for a realistic figure.
The portrait is great... but I am not so sure about the effects of the shader. IS there a way to have the effects localized to certain areas of the texture like the cheeks and not other?
