Description
This WAS my entry in Renderosity's Christmas Card Contest. But for some reason, it didn't go through. So I am free to post it here now, instead of waiting until after the contest. I wish all who entered the contest, good luck! There are some terrific images.
About this image, I used an image off of a Christmas card for my inspiration in painting this picture. I know I still need to work on the facial details, but I will get it eventually.
It was all done in Paint Shop Pro 7.
Thank you for looking,
I hope you like this picture.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Wonderful job! Love the crackle type effect on the figures! Wish it had gone through, a very worthy entry! :)))
Oh My how truely lovely it is. the facial 'details' are wonderful and in my eye no more work is needed on them. Beautiful. :)))
Vikki I think it's great. You know one of the hardiest thing to draw or paint is the human form, be it face or any part of the body. I like the face it has a spark to it. Very well done indeed! Wonderful Work.
Loved the simple life when I was a kid.. Reminds me of that Vikki! Thanks and once again.. Hope You and Yours have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I'm off on vacation now till next year. I'll be around sporatically... Hugs... Dave :^) V
