Description
Okay...Here's is my submission to Markal's challenge of Nov 27 to try some close in POVs with Terragen. Been working on it for 4 days. There are 17 rock layers. The normal haze/mist which was produced in the valley areas below, is what gave me the idea for the title. Can't say it didn't involve some postwork, as it did. Mainly to correct the blockiness usually produced by close POVs. But, I decided to try my ability for the challenge.
Enjoy the cliff side views and as always, your comments are generously welcomed.
Terrain was all Terragen
Post work was ACDSee & PSP

Nice texturing and mood. The smokey/misty effect is quite nice. Excellent render.
wow - it's gorgoeus. 17 rock layers?! O_O Well, it definitely paid off for you ^_^
I love it!!!
Great use of haze; nice pov too!
Good variation with the surface map. The clouds could use a little help but still well done for this overall mood and POV.
The rock face is super...very realistic color and texture. The mist is cool and I like the atmosphere...excellent work!!
This is fantastic. Your close up work and texturing is excellent. I don't know why you were worried about it. You have a great sky and clouds. Your mist works well. There is only one thing I would have done and that is put a little orange in your mist to suggest fire.
The view is well worth the effort on the cliff faces. Well done! I like the low clouds, too.
I like it very much photostar.
Excellent TG work. Get mattes and POV
