just posted wron pic after lengthy explanation so I was not sure whether rendo would let me post again... it did by the way. this is a reworked version of an earlier post using a couple photoshop tools from www.fredmiranda.com since i am a newbie with photoshop i thought i would see if these tools would help me. used the velvia action and intelligent sharpening tools and I think they are much better than what i am able to do... even if this one is a bit overdone. thanks for comments/crits
