Description
This photo has been taken last spring. This photo represents the many orchards the Netherlands once had.. .But they become increasingly rare, because they no longer are needed for the production of fruit. Much of our fruit nowadays originates from South European countries and this means our own orchards become useless. Many of them already disappeared. Especially when an old orchard is wasted, it's an awful shame, because this is the home of a great variety of animals.
The orchard on this picture is a combination between an old orchard (with large trees) and a recent type.

Beautiful spring scenery : the colours and POV are wonderful!! Just dreamful :))
I'm already sitting beneath that tree, sipping my wine, eating my bread and cheese and reading my book. Fantastic capture :]
Yes, great compo! Soft spring colors! Excellent!
A beautiful presentation or the old vs the new. Sad to be sure, the price of progress. The gnarled beauty of the tree is compelling.

Cherry blossoms are my all time favourites! It's very sad that so many orchards are no longer in full production. I'm glad you caught these beauties in full bloom! Beautifully composed, stunning photo =)
Beautiful! It is nice to have a little spring on a cold November day! Cherry trees are so elegant. :c)
Looks like my back yard in the spring. Beautiful reminder! 'tis a shame for the imports. When there is an abundance within.
