Lungo mare (in our dialect) means promenade by the sea side. Typical for Medditerranean country's. This one is few km long...wonderful for walking...

Beautiful scene! I'm curious as to when these were built. I can't imagine that they were built just for people to walk on and enjoy, there must have been some other purpose when they were originally constructed. Anyway, it's really nice that they are available now!
