Description
Meli,(gallimel) was kind enough to allow me to paint her portrait. I have been working on a couple of versions. I used several photos for reference only ,especially one you can find at her site called Renoir 3. I'm still not quite satisfied, so if you have suggestions for improvement, please leave a comment. Thank you.
Drawn and painted in Painter 7 with Wacom tablet and Intous pen. (Sorry to those who already viewed this. I changed versions to one I prefer a bit more.)

You make me even look cute! :) (and I am not ;)) I am grateful and touched.. this goes straight to may favourites :) A huge embrace :) Use all of my site you find of interest, landscapes included :) hugs :)
this is great - and i really "LOVE" the "surrealism" you put in this one... wow... amazing!
I saw this at Sijun, and I was actually going to ask if it was a portrait of her. Then I come here, and I see that it is. Excellent work.

Thankyou for the kind comments. I'm reworking the painting.... too many things I'm not happy with, and will post a new version soon.
