Outstanding flame.
I always enjoy an Apo crystal, and the frame works well with the image.
It does have the crystally facets to it. Nice flame, and the presentation is wonderful! (:
Really nice work on a tough subject; the crystal formation of the quartz is excellent and imparts a nice sense of the multi-faceted nature of the mineral. IMHO the image would benefit from two things: 1. a black background to increase the contrast and make the fine flame work really stand out, and 2. the inclusion of a bit more of pink (and perhaps blue) into the structure to add to the simulation of internal reflections and refrations of light.
