Description
aptured, Niall, the former Captain-General and sole survivor of Midland's now vanquished and slaughtered army, is brought before the Overload.
Tell me why," The Overlord says coldly, "I should spare what is left of the people of Midland?"
Neil swallows his first bitterly angry retort, duty does not allow him the luxury of grief and anguish just yet. He rapidly sorts through and discards a half dozen other possible replies and pleas before responding simply, "Because you can."
