"He killed Vararus," he added with a note of pain in his voice. "He does not look like any Overlord, I have ever heard of," Daio, the equally young Queen of the Midlands responded. "True," Niall replied uneasily. Something was very wrong here. Suddenly, he doubted the Kings of the surrounding lands were giving his royal cousin good advice. He needed to find out for sure. Find out the truth before something terrible happened. "King Farquaran's advisor is still with us is he not?" Daio asked and Niall nodded. "Send him here, perhaps he can verify or deny this man's identity." "Yes, my Queen," Niall responded absently, his mind racing with ideas on how to best leave camp and find out what was truly going on. Queen Daio continued to stare at her captive. He certainly did not look like the monster Farquaran and Nestor had described. But if he was this Overlord, she would kill him no matter what he looked like.
