Description
Back playing in photoshop, built this closet out of just texture maps and alpha channels, i wanted to create an old closset with dragons carved in wood within its doors, Took loads of time playing round just to get the right effect, i think its almost there now, just have to put the sides and back on now. Rendered in mental ray .

I have got 7 other shots, of this its going to be part of a magical chamber, the closet for me is deep and meaning full, The shot i was looking for was one of a eerie/scarey feeling, there is something about closets that scare the hell out of everyone, may be i will come out of this one someday:) The texture is hand painted in photoshop, output to .Tiff format, to hold the alpha channel, i then made a bumpmap of the texture and also a Spec map. for the lighting. I sat and tweeked like mad in mental ray. the pic is lit by to spot lights, with loads of raytracing settings for the shadows and global ilumination and a few other settings. thanks all for the comments :)
