looks quite real
I think one has kept its tones quite well because they look great. There's really nice contrast between hot ochres and some cooler tones. Very well done, and lovely for eyes! :-)
This is splendid! I love the verticallity of this image and how it is enphatised by the main dune that was drew vertically from almost the top of the picture to the bottom. The colors are very well choosen, and it's very well painted, I like the mixing of colors in the dunes to make the dunes irregular and thus making hte picture more interesting, and the contrast between the brigth yellow sand with the dark brwon shadow in the sand looks fantastic! I have no doubts that this picture seen in it's original canvas and original size must be even better cause it makes a different impression like you said, and I believe that things like the texture of the canvas makes this picture even more interesting. Still I really like this picture, I think it makes a beautifull decorative painting to have in a room. Beautifull!
