Not much time for intricate designs, this is a fast study on textures and new lighting techniques. Also, due to work on our ADSL-lines, I didn't recieve any mail for the last 3 days, guess I'll have to check some fav's gallerys for your new artwork. Take care of each other, and as always, thank you for viewing and all of your comments!!

I really like this one Dirk...the rich colors are killer. ;o)
Super colors and textures to fit a poignant visual observation. Indeed it does! Are those symbolic sad eyes peering out of the factory? VOTE
really good love it ;like some type of head gear you ware in space
WOW again! the endless toil and all for a rusting heap of scrap, love the perspectives in this.
I can almost smell the metallic odor of it. Super, and so true. Very nice textures. Reminds me of going back to work tomorrow, though...echh!
It almost looks like there's a pair of eyes looking out at us (eyes with bags under them, lol). Very provacative image, Dirk. Great colors and textures!
Wow! Wonderful lighting techniques! Looks like a scene from within a bessemer steel furnace, can almost feel the rank and smell the rank odor. Love the perforated steel walkways. Very creative,
Wow! Reminds me of some of the scenes from "Forbidden Planet" (very old sci-fi film) They used glass paintings to create a scene of gigantic shafts going down to the core of the planet. That texture and lighting you used is great!
that is so cool.. love the metallic look and your coloring.. it is excellent .. wow.. has my vote
These are really nice textures. I like the mood that the colors evoke.
It's like looking up at a fantastic ceiling, beautiful and I agree rust always wins in the end, for the cycle must be completed =) Great "quick" work =) ~V~
This is really amazing and has great intricacies! Excellent work Dirk! :)
Terrific lighting and textures. I can't decide if this is a factory for truck wheels or harddrives, whichever it is they'd better get their moisture problem under control. Excellent!
fantastic "study"... the lighting and beautiful rust colors wins my V!

Excellent! Very well done!
Fabulous textures and lighting... looks pretty complex to me... great design!
Is this an abacus factory? They really look like that kind of bead. Somehow I don't think a rusty abacus would be a very useful tool. :-)
