This is beautiful. Really, really beautiful. You made me stop and think why children are special, instead of just saying "awww", which I guess would be a fair enough reaction to a lovely picture. However, your images generally go much deeper and this one is no exception. The little girl is stunningly beautiful, and the pose and expression are perfect. It tugs at my heartstrings for more reasons than I care to dwell on.

Oh Leah, I can really relate to the sentiment of SamTherapy, for reasons you know, only too well. This should be printed off and sent to ANY establishment that deals with the welfare of young children. It should be compulsory! This is precious work Leah, absolutely beautiful. Excellent! Steve :o)

this is a really lovely image u have made here, the truth of it is all to real and sometimes not at all what really happens and how children are treated. I agree with stevie.. this should be on the walls of child's wards and anything related to the well being of our child.. they are our future.

I was once told by a very wise elderly mother in New Hampshire that children are a gift--not a right. And like a gift, they can be taken back if we do not cherish or respect the gift with our whole heart and soul. Her words stayed with me all my life and now on to the lives of my children and grandchildren.

ve certainly captured the pure inocences of children.This is exceptional...I teach 3 and 4 year old children (pre-school) and believe me Each and everyone of those children that have walked through my door in the 15 yrs.
