Love and The composition and the Paintings on the walls...
The paintings look stretched vertically.
The laurel designs obove the doorway look too angular. Some beveling perhaps? Maybe less even lighting would give a greater sence of age and depth. Otherwise I really like this image.
This is excellent! Like we are really there at the bottom of the stairs.
