Great macro shot, love the detail. You can see the pollen on the bee's head. Great job.
Perfection! Those colors are just wow!! v :)
Brilliant DOF!!! I love the bright colours, just amazing, best bee I've seen! V
This is an outstanding macro, Matt. Detail is one thing, but the composition is marvellous. Super work. (it is, however, PINK! such a girly color... :D )
Beautiful macro shot !!! Love the colors !!!! ;)
Excellent shot - love the colours.
Just a note: the "-----------------" title wasn't a transparent attempt at pretension...it was merely the result of my lack of ability to come up with a cool title...is this disclaimer pretentious in and of itself?
yep, a perfect macro,Matt. amazing use of DOF. i absolutely agree with the others here. * vote * !!!!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic macro Matt, this is a reall joyfull shot, perfect and so beautiful, I don't feel the title as pretentious and I understand your feeling. I do also music an the titles of my tunes are ever like this "Brkkmodiali", or "Strupidriktyro" ... because I never know what title to share. This shot is fantastic. V
Absolutely tremendous macro Matt...great DOF colours :)

Brilliant Eye Catcher...pink doesn't bother Me...but, the fuzzy wuzzy has put a tickle in My throat....this is da Buzz!
Hmmm, not sure if I'm liking these little fellows these days. I was attaced and stung several times last friday and left me in pain for two days. Something so beautiful that has a mean streak a mile long. lol. Wonderful exposure as always.
Pink delight, Moraitis stung by a bumblebee ... strange rare occasion. Is pink evil after all :)
awesome shot and spectacular colors!
Excellent macro Matt...I can hear the buzzing...the clarity and colors are praiseworthy. Thanks for sharing...
Yes DOF stands out strong and creates a image of interest not just another bee shot :)
this is amazing
I love that quote from, 'Absolutely Fabulous' where she goes 'pretentious? ... moi?..... If I was in the habit of stroking bees' backs I would probably stroke this one's back! ....A stunner of a shot... what is left to say?
