Description
The challenge was this: Build a four page full color layout on a car I hadn't done a photo shoot on, the only photos I had of the car were in my photo library. Photos I had shot of the car in car show parking lots and drag races.
The main shot of the car was taken outside a car show where they were firing the motor to pull it inside the building. So I used the "Zoom" blur in photoshop to blur out the annoying background (BG) cars and used it as BG for the detail shots. The "motion" blur was used on several of the other photo BG's as well.
Many of the photos were "re-worked" to save them from bad lighting or poor exposure. But I think the layout came out pretty good for using nothing more then "junk" file photos.

Impressive!
Very nicely done! Looks just like a Hot Rod mag layout to me!
very impressive... and educational. Good to see what can be done with a little elbow grease and creativity.
The photographer need not trouble himself with how Grumpy's toy got sidetracked for a Winternationals motor worthy of Garlits except to give the finger to the cop in in the CHP (or FHP) Dodge Magnum. Bon appetite!!
