Description

As I have said yesterday, representing rinascimental religious paintings has given to me great serenity and peace. Unfortunately life seems to bring together light and peace also the other side of the medal: the dark side. To remain in the "classic" I think that nobody better than Dante has represented this side in his sublime "Divina Commedia". My intention was to try to illustrate some Chants of Inferno, but there was many difficulties doing that with Poser expecially for (characters, ambients, props).It should be a great work and a great satisfaction for me and secretely I'm again working collecting pieces. In the meantime I present this introductory image with a powerful background from LIVIO (beatoangelico)and my interpretation of the chapter... "From here we go to the mournful city..From here we go among the lost people. Let every hope You that want to enter.." Not too much reassuring... Doriano

follow it thru, dante could use some new looks. To lead off with 'abandon all hope, ye who enter here' might be brave. I hope it's not prophetic for your undertaking.
