Description
First of all I would like to thank everyone for their caring messages and comments about the death of Gizmo. You took a part of my pain away... A special thanks to Cia and Maria for their wonderful remembrance images to Gizmo. You have a very special place in my heart !!!
To answer some IM's, I'm working double shifts at the shelter for the moment, since my colleague is on holiday. Since I don't have the time for creating new work, I'm gonna post some very old stuff for a while. Just for the fun of it :-))
On sunday, my colleague returns, and I'm gonna pick up my new Irish Wolfhoundpup. He will eat up a lot of my time during the next 10 critical months of his growth and psychological development. And in september, i start two years of evening classes to sharpen my skills as an animalcarer. This study will also demand a lot of my time.
To keep it short, i will have to reduce the amount of new works (maybe one or two a week). And i will only have the time to comment on the people in my favorites list (which I'm gonna extent a bit). Life is always about priorities, isn't it ? But I'll be around, wouldn't want to miss this community of warm people :-))
Take care of each other !!
Dirk

i like it, very humorous and fun...
Excellent and creative fractal Dirk....!!
Amazing how things have changed! I remember leaving my 486SX25 on all night to generate some Newton image that I didn't even like in the morning. Cool and interesting work, looks like a face with hands on the cheeks like they are surprised. Good luck in all of your endeavors.
Very cool fractal! It looks like a face...a strange face, yes, but it appears to be looking this way! lol q-: Love the colors too! Fantastic piece! (:
the simplicity of the forms is nice...from the thumbnail page I thought of Matisse cutouts...playful probably like your new pup will be!
Well, an animal lover has to have a sense of humor! lol...fun image....the very best of luck to you with the new pup, schooling, and all the other directions that your life is going right now, Dirk. Will enjoy your images no matter how infrequently you are able to post.

Nice oldie. I wish you the best in your future endeavors. You will be greatly rewarded for your work with animals. Just drop in once in a while and with a short note of how things are going. Take care.
Oh, Dirk! A new puppy on Sunday! I have to know which one you chose. This is reminiscent of some of my earlier fractals. Fun and lighthearted. Good luck in everything you are doing. You are blessed to have such a full and productive life! Enjoy it! I for one, will still be here when you come back.
