Description
An hourglass built and rendered in Imagine 2.0, for the imagine3d.org weekly theme gallery. The first theme was "build a book." The second was "build an hourglass." So, I think I'm off to build a library to house them!

Wow! This object is so delicate ! I love the subtle details. Wonderful work, Tien.
Very interesting concept and work!!! Bravo!!!
Beautifully done ... the refraction of the spindle in the glass is brilliantly observed and executed, and the detail is excellent throughout.
I especially like the 'celtic' borders top and bottom....how were those done then?...beautiful model over all...seems you need home work t gat goin eh...LOL
The 'celtic" border Bobby referred to was one of the results of the helix experiments/tutes we were doing several moons ago. I find they make excellent trim for a variety of objects (-:
splendid and fine modelling,bravo.v.
