This picture was taken in 1951.
Great picture and scene. Really good image quality, especially for the picture having been around for that long.
"Ding Dong the Bells are gonna Chime"...wouldn't it be lovely to catch the Bouquet....as a Kid, I Hot Wired a Twin Spinner....these Cars had soooooooooooooooooooo much room on the Back Seat...a Honey Moon Suite on Wheels ;]
They don't make them like they used to...the cars, or the wedding dress. All are beautiful.
That's the way I like them; big, bulky and beefy - they don't make 'em like that any more (the cars, silly)
This is wonderful! The year I was born. So nostalgic. The beautiful satin in the dress. It just isn't seen anymore. All of that gleaming metal. sigh This is a wonderfully restored photograph, and one for the keeping.
Can't help but get all nostalgic when I see your shots.... even though I wasn't even close to being born then.... :~)
What a day !! can't be late!!!a happy day and your both still loving the time you have with each other!!Excellent!!
Love the title on this one! :-))) It's a wonderful picture, Jack. All of your work tells a facinating tale of american history. BRAVO my friend!
Agree with WeeLaddie. Where are the days of beautiful cars?
This is very nostalgic, reminds me of when I wa young I use to see a few of those cars driving around and there was an old one in the back of the house that we use to paly in..but they all faded away with time (except in te movies)..VERY NICE
