If you go to pm_hackworth you can see my submission of the same flower. (Except mine was pink). I believe yours is a little more close up and maybe the colors more vibrant than mine. (The upload). Now the actual picture was beautiful. Great work! I am new but I am learning!

Wow, a lot of things here are just right! Excellent shot! I can't believe the coincidence, the very first picture, I took with my new camera, I posted on the Renderosity web site, and it is of the same flower. I was experimenting with the macro settings and was able to get close enough to see great detail on the spikes and these very unusual 'hydra" looking things. I think that if you took a look at the picture, You would be impressed to see what nature has to offer really really close up. It's called: "Look Really Really Really Close" October 2003.

This reminds me of the Tiger Lily my mother grew at her home...except this looks more like a leopard lily with those spots! I rarely shoot film anymore after my digital camera purchase, unless a job requires large prints []/;^)
