After David Leffel. David Leffel is one of the great masters of oil painting of these days. His use of light, composision, movement, colour and brush work are truely testimony of the great masters of old.
To paint like the great masters is to paint...life. Whatever genre; impressionism, realism, abstract, they are all braught to life with their use of colour, light & shadow, application of paint to the canvas. A study of light and its movement across objects.

Thank you. This was a great learning experience. As it was a (study). I have done several (Studies) of this artists works. I believe if your paintings or works begin to take on the characteristics of those you are replicating...then you are learning the Process to which the desired outcome was achieved. Then...you take what you learned and apply it to your own unique style.

I honestly dont see why this doesnt have more rankings and/or comments. I think you achieved what you were studying, because the lighting and colors are perfect. This is by far my favorite painting I've seen here. Beautiful work.
