Description
This is a crop from a larger image that I will post later on. I really liked the detail here so I wanted to show it, but the full version is better as a compo.

Excellent DOF, really brilliant macroshot, nice reflection in eye and I like that pieces of pollen on feet.
I forgot to explain the title here - Hoverflies mimic the warning stripes of bees and wasps.
Like this compo too !! Wonderful colors and details !! Love the pollen sticking to him :o) Excellent work Matt and i VOTE !!
wow, look at all that dirty pollen, i would be a very sneezy bee, love the crop!
fantastic macro.......
Excellent Mat, this kind of hoverfly is charged in pollen, in the next days I'll show a scarab who mimic the bumble bees. this is a discovery for me ! Thanks my friend. V
He's up to his snout in pollen so he's in it (bee work)quite deliberately. What a strangely humorous life script and brief? Cheers...

"If the photographY is not good enough it is because you are not enough close to your subject"(Robert Capa). It doesn't looks to be the case here.
