Description

Well, I wanted something for the Chill Out Zone challenge over in the forum. So I made it. After countless computer crashes on the laptop. What finally fixed it was threatening the heatsink with the vacuum. And it worked. Damn dust.. Everything made by yours truly, modelled and textured. The only thing not mine is the MC Escher woodcut in the middle of the room. The idea was to create a balanced room where one could relax and think. I think I pulled it off pretty well. Enjoy.

Yes, this is indeed a nice room. I love the modeling and texturing you have done. The even, bright light really finishes it off.

A bright and algid room, ireal for "chillouting". I think I can spend hours looking to Esher's masterpiece on that couch.

Hmm. "Nice" I like the render, but being in a room like that would stress me out. I like a "warm" Edwardian library with dark mahogany shelves to the ceiling and red leather wing-back chairs with brass tacks and a Billiard Green rug over hardwood floors. A big fireplace and one of those old-world globes with the built-in bar...

Dude - You came back strong! This is an absolutely wicked piece! Wonderful depth, style, structure, and ambience. I think I'll vote in spite of the Macintoshish daisy thing. ;)
