So there were no flowers in Eden and they were added after the expulsion of Adam and Eve in the way the fig leaf became clothes. "Behold the lowly lily, yet, Solomon was not arrayed in greater finery than these." and Solomon was only wearing clothes because he knows he is naked and is the wisest of such. Ergo the earth! It must have been bare rocks in Eden.
